The Story is all that Matters…

This podcast has been going strong since our first show with the legendary Ralph Davis on October 9th, 2016. I haven’t done all the research yet, but I believe this is the longest consistently running reptile podcast in the world. I am very proud of that fact even if it might not be true lol. For 8 solid years we’ve brought you the best reptile breeders on the planet and we continue to do so today.

In 2019 we started the now iconic “15 Minutes of Lame” yearly competition for new reptile breeders. Starting our 5th year in 2024, we still have claim to the best “new breeder” segment in the hobby. Justin Kobylka, the biggest and most elite ball python breeder in the world sponsors the 15 Minutes segment and calls it a “launchpad for new and successful breeders and a badge of honor in the reptile hobby.” Oh, did we mention a full length documentary by Leviathan Snakes’ Steven and Courtney Capps called 15 MIN - A Ball Python Documentary was released in 2024 specifically focusing on the contest. I am extremely proud of the contest itself and everyone involved in it every year as it continues to be a driving force in the hobby.

This podcast has evolved in the 8 years I’ve been doing it and I feel like we bring even more to the table these days. Not only do we have the best reptile breeders on the planet as guests now, but we’ve expanded to interviewing musicians, directors, actors and influencers. We welcome all great storytellers because at the end of the day, the story is all that matters.
